Behind the Scenes
It was a winter wonderland in the photo studio that year. After working through numerous concepts, the idea of magical (dare I say whimsical) snow swirls was the winner. It was an effective  way to tell Staples' holiday story while showcasing products in a dynamic way. We shot the snow and the snowflakes in house and built a library of swirls and flakes that the team could put together based on the specs of their project. Additionally, I art directed the product photography, shooting a library of products at angles designed to make the products look like they could be flying.
